In 2018 ebay planned to release few important updates that could affect all ebay sellers.

Product-Based Shopping Experience at eBay
In 2018 eBay will be transitioning to a Product-Based Shopping Experience which groups similar listings together. Buyers can easily see the merchandise that meets their search criteria, and quickly decide which product they want to purchase.
This change will require sellers to associate their listings with products in the eBay Catalog for select product lines.
eBay will provide official information to seller together with 2018 Spring Seller Update.
The first wave of changes will start in May 2018.
Impacted marketplaces are US, UK, AU, and CA [English].

- May 2018 listings for select brands in specific categories will require association with an eBay catalog
- August 2018, the requirement to create/revise a listing against an eBay catalog
product will be applied to entire categories, and not just select brands within a category.

Changes in PrestaBay PrestaShop eBay Integration module
In order to provide our customers' way to submit products into ebay catalog, it will be required to specify ePID value together with other product details. This ebay product identification could be obtained by using UPC/EAN code of the product. PrestaBay PrestaShop ebay module will give a way to automatically determinate ePID numbers for your PrestaShop products catalog. As soon as functionality will be ready we will release module update together with detailed instruction for sellers.

Migration from PayPal to Adyen
PrestaShop eBay Module PrestaBay support Adyen payment system as well as another payment method available on ebay.
Starting from the second half of 2018 ebay will start payments intermediation on a small scale in North America.
In 2021 ebay, eBay expects to have transitioned a majority of its Marketplace customers to its new payments experience.
As soon as new api, api changes connected to Adyen payment will be available, the module will make all required modification required for correctly migrate our customers to a new payment platform.
